We've seen this place a couple times while getting Ice Cream at Betty Rae's and kept thinking we should come back and try it and we're finally able to. It's very cozy when you walk in,with a bar off to the left, booth and table seating to the right and if you keep going right there's a separate room that can be used for events. We were seated immediately just after 6pm. But they were doing decent business with most of the bar seats taken, a few filled tables, and a big group in the back room. We opted to try the bruschetta appetizer which came with pesto sauce, mozzarella and parmesan cheese, grape tomatoes, and a blood orange balsamic glaze. Even not being a huge fan of tomatoes, I couldn't stop eating this. For our entrees I tried the meatloaf which was amazing. The texture of the loaf was perfect and it was topped with an onion gravy (which I love so much more than a mushroom gravy) and came with mashed potatoes and creamy green beans. The potatoes were smooth and well seasoned and I appreciated that the green beans, even though creamy, were still fresh and crisp. My husband tried the wornall flatbread which came with chicken, mushrooms, and bacon. We were both very impressed with the food and service and will make it a point to visit again!

Just had a pre-Thanksgiving lunch here. Wanted something semi-light, but also knew there were many options for libations to be had, so headed over. My bartender/server was AM B (from the receipt). Only 1 word to sum up this dude: AWESOME!!!!! Not only will I come back for the food & drinks, but to be able to sit at the bar & have his service???? Hell yeah. Very personable, easy on the eyes, & just nice!!! An awesome bartender!!! Started with a Boulevard Brewing Company's Nutcracker Ale on tap. Hey, it's the holidays, right? I forgot how much I enjoy this beer. Goes down way smooth!!!! For lunch, had the Classic Flatbread paired with ranch dressing. Superb. Not too big, but filling for lunch. Flavors on point!! Then had a Lifted Spirits gin cocktail on tap (AM B's recommendation). Served with one of those large ice cubes, went down super smooth, & the flavor was NICE!!!! More on that one on a future visit. Finished off my lunch with what District Pour House + Kitchen is known for: an Apricot infused Tito's Vodka served neat. One of the cool aspects of this bar/restaurant is ALL of the infused spirits they have ... SO many to try!!!! Just means more visits back to sample all of them. AM B, keep up the great work - can't wait to see you again. Next time, going for the Gumbo & Lettuce Wraps. I think the Cardamom infused vodka is calling my name, for sure!!!!!

Stopped here on a whim and we were not disappointed. I was craving a Bloody Mary. I like some spice, so our server suggested trying the pepperoncini infused vodka. It did not disappoint. I would come back just for that. Sounds like they do a lot of their own infused liquors that I should come back for, too. I had the club sandwich with truffle fries and my husband had the blue cheese burger and truffle fries. He said that burger was the best he's had in ages. And that's saying a lot because he doesn't get all excited unless it's REALLY amazing. My club sandwich was very good. The truffle fries were delicious, despite not having much truffle flavor at all. Still a very solid fry. We will definitely be back!

This is my partner & I's go-to neighborhood joint for a happy hour or casual dinner out. On Friday's they offer a crab & shrimp boil special for under $30 a piece - a new feature that used to be once a month but now is offered every Friday. Their house-infused liquor options make for a zesty drink menu for all tastes (we like the tequila cocktails, personally!) and there are enough shareable menu items to make this a great happy hour destination. Personal favorites include the risotto balls and truffle fries.

Vodka....yes!! This place does it right! Came on a very busy friday night with a group. Made reservations ....thank goodness! It gets pretty loud in there. Between my group we were able to try about 6 of the fusion drinks - my fav italian black cherry gin! Can't believe how clean and fresh the fusions were...no comparison to the other flavored liquor you get elsewhere. My next trip....a vodka flight!! Food - so many tantalizing choices! I got the mac + cheese with bacon, so creamy cheesy and filling. I am so eager to come back to try their nightly and weekend food specials...all look and sound delicious. My mouth is watering just writing this review.
